As part of my Operation Appreciation, I offered complimentary photo sessions for individuals serving our country, or veterans.  The Starr Family is temporarily missing an important member of their family, as their dad/husband is serving in Afghanistan.  Some of the photos from this session went to Afghanistan with him.

*Print credits can be used for prints or other items offered through Your Moments Photography (ie, Photo books, Accordion Print Albums, iPhone covers, etc.)  Print credits may only be used by a Parent Rep for their photo session/s.  They are non-transferrable, and have no cash value.

Book a Portrait Party Today

What is a Portrait Party?

Become a hostess or host of a portrait party today.  Similar to all other types of home parties, you invite your friends, neighbors, and family to your home, a park, or other venue (we can work on those details) for a professional portrait session. Your Moments Photography will photograph a mini session, which will last about 20 minutes.  There is a $25.00 fee per family due at the time of the session.  This will include one digital image.  Each session will have approximately 25 photos (or more) to choose from.  They will be custom-edited.  Should the guest decide to purchase a print package, the $25 will be credited to their print package.   

I will provide the hostess or host with an information packet, digital postcard specially designed for the portrait party as well as a general postcard, which can be mailed to friends and family, and scheduling-information sheets.

How Does It Work?

• A minimum of 5 sessions is required for each party.
• The host/hostess receives up to a 15% credit towards their order.
• Dual hosting is OK!  Each host would need to have 5 sessions.
•  Each session is 15 o 20 minutes long.
• The sessions are booked by the host/hostess, prior to the party date.
• Each group will be limited to 6 people.  If is over 6 people, an additional fee will apply (and keep in mind, the more people in the photos, the longer it takes to set up shots.  This will reduce the number of shots I am able to take.  I am available for large group family shots that are on-location and last for 1.5 – 2 hours each.)
• All sessions must be booked, back-to-back. The invited guests must contact the hostess/host, to schedule their session times.
• Invited guests should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled session, or can come and stay for the entire party.
• During each session the guests will receive an information sheet that explains the ordering process, copyright information, a model release, and information on where to view their children's images.

• Parents and guardians are welcome to bring hats, the child’s favorite toy, or any item of interest. We also offer themed sessions.
• All guests must have an appointment to attend the party.  Depending on timing, if someone just drops in, there session would have to go after everyone who is scheduled has had their session – and only if time permits.

How do you order your portraits?

All images will be posted on our webpage for viewing within 72 hours of the party.  Packages ordered and paid in full within two weeks of the portrait party, save 10 % off the standard price.

Payment is due in Check or Cash.  While I can accept credit card payment via PayPal, there will be a small service fee added on. 

Any orders that come in after 4 weeks will not go toward the commission for the host/hostess.  Orders will be placed after two weeks, and after 4 weeks from the party.  Hostess will receive their full credit after the 4-week mark. 

Responsibilities of the host or hostess:

• Send invitations.
 It is as your discretion as to whether or not you want to allow pets in the sessions.  Please let your guests know in advance. 
• Schedule all appointments, with the guests.
• Send the guest listing to the photographer, 1 week prior to the party.
• Be present during the entire party.
• Supply simple refreshments to your guests.
• Remind guests during the party about the ordering period to place their orders within the time limit so that you will receive your commission.
• Arrange the pick-up time with me for portrait packages and deliver the orders to your guests when they are complete.

Hostess/Host Benefits:

1 - Hostess will receive a free 1-hour photo session.  The session will include 1 8x10 print, 2 5 x 7s and 8 wallet prints.
2 - Receive commissions from the total sales and bookings, from your party, to be used for portraits taken of your child the day of the party.


                        Orders totaling up to $400 - Hostess earns a 5% print credit.

                        Orders totaling up to $401 - $600 – Hostess earns a 10% print credit

                        Orders totaling over $601 – Hostess earns a 15% print credit

Print credits are not limited to just prints.  I also have a menu of options including iPhone covers, Frames, Accordion albums, etc., for you to select from.

The hostess/host will also receive a $25 credit for each party that is booked within two weeks of their party (the credit will be redeemable after the additional parties take place).

Are you participating in a Walk or Event such as a Relay for Life, Strides Against Breast Cancer, MS Walk, Juvenile Diabetes Walk, Kidney Foundation?  Want to have a Portrait Party, and raise money for your favorite cause?  I will donate 10% of the sales toward your team’s fundraising efforts (money will be paid directly to the organization). 

This also works great for School Classes/Extracurricular activities, Sports Teams, PTO, Booster Club, Pet Organizations, etc.  Ask me for more details on how to raise money for your organization.
